We have translations for the following languages already built in: Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish.

By default, Rich Returns will detect the customer language based on the browser language set by the user and display the customer portal accordingly in different languages. This approach is the most widely used in eCommerce (e.g., by Amazon) and most user-friendly since it respects the user's settings.

  • If you want to activate multiple languages, head over to Configuration -> Translations.

  • Select a language from the dropdown menu.

  • Make sure to Activate the language on the returns portal.

  • For example, I have activated multiple languages on my portal. As you can see on the screenshot below, all of them will appear in a dropdown menu in the top-right corner of the portal. Your customers will still be able to choose and change languages as they see fit.

Customizing Portal Language

Learn how to customize the text on your returns portal by following our guide here.

Setting a default language

Navigate to Configuration -> Translations:

  • Choose a language from the dropdown menu.

  • Click "Activate this language on the returns portal"

  • Click "Make this the default language"

This language will be shown by default when no other custom language is enabled. If you have enabled only this one language, then it will always be shown.
