You can set up your prepaid label integration with EasyPost by following this easy tutorial. Let's go!

  1. Head over to the EasyPost website where you can sign up. If you already have an account, simply sign in here.

  2. Setup your payment method so you're able to generate prepaid labels successfully. Please note that this can be an issue if no funds are available on the payment method you set up.

  3. Add your carrier account or select one of EasyPost's existing carrier accounts once you have signed up: https://www.easypost.com/account/carriers.

  4. You can find your EasyPost API Key here; look for the 'Production API key'. Copy your key. It's extremely important that you copy your Production key and not the Test one.

  5. Once you have your API Key, head to your Rich Returns Dashboard. Next stop: Configuration -> Returns -> Return Methods -> Configure pre-paid labels -> Setup.

  6. Select EasyPost as your Shipping Platform and place your API Key under the API Key field. Please ensure that the entered key is the Production one. The Test API Key will not work. Note: our API key is sensitive and hidden on the screenshot.

  7. Once we moved that out of our way, let's select the carrier and service rate we're using. It's important to note that you also need to enter the Package dimensions and the Empty box weight to generate the label.

  8. Final step but equally important: do not forget to enable the Pre-Paid Return Label (automatic). This will enable you and your customers to select the option and generate the label during the returns process.

We're done! That was EasyPost. Get it? 😂
