Thanks to Shopify's introduction of their Returns API, you can now make sure that all returns that were started within the app are also synchronized within your Shopify dashboard.

What does this mean? This means that each time a return is initiated in Rich Returns, a return will also be initiated on the original order in Shopify.

You can enable this functionality by heading over to Return Settings -> Shopify Sync -> Enable Shopify Return Tracking.

How is this helpful? This is great for visibility and tracking, especially if you want your Rich Returns app and returns to be in sync with your Shopify sales stats.
